Portrait

My first experience as a teacher was at the multi-class school in Sihlwald, where I taught all students from the 1st to 6th grade in a small school building. This was followed by the founding of my own family (three sons). I then worked as a short term replacement teacher and taught “Gymi” preparation, private lessons and drawing lessons for 4th to 6th graders. For more than twenty years I worked as a primary class teacher in Grüningen. In addition, I was involved in the training of new teachers and advised young teachers in subject didactics as a coach.

Currently I also coach primary and secondary school teachers.

More than ten years ago, together with two colleagues at the Grüningen School, I introduced and built up the Peacemaker project. The peace facilitator program is now firmly established and every year pupils are elected by their peers and trained as peacemakers.

In recent years I have been able to set up and implement a number of school projects.

Five years ago, I founded the “Lernenamsee” studio, aimed at supporting individual students with their learning. In July 2018 I have resigned as teacher in Grueningen to be able to expand and fully concentrate on “Lernenamsee”. I look forward to assist your child in experiencing the joy of learning.

If needed, I liaise with partners and experts.
